Changes that could be made to my study programme

For me, this topic is very hard to make an opinion, because since I join to the career of Chemistry and pharmacy, I felt every subject as a important part for my professional formation. But, actually, I consider that we need changes in our study programme.
First, my study programme is composed by many courses, for example, General Chemistry, calculus, physics, biology, pharmaceutical botany, and another ones. This courses are obligatory for us because if you don`t make  or you have a bad mark on some subject, you will have to repeat the course and in some cases, these ones only can realize in a year, not in a semester, But besides of the obligatory courses, you must to make 3 General Formation Courses. This "Special" courses must realize to graduate from the career, there are many options, for example, Sports, Theater or Ethic.
Currently, I don`t understand the necessity to make an obligation the GFC, in my opinion there are many courses that should join in the obligatory programme, as ethic. In the professional world, the ethic defines a good professional over a bad professional, I think that this GFC would have a good use on the obligatory programme, in medicine, the career has a course named Bio-ethic and it's an obligatory subject, In our country, we could make better professionals if they know more abouut ethic.

Another situation is the long duration of the classes, this is the main reason by which some students can't take courses, when a course have a long duration, for a normal student  could be very stress and, as a consequence is the student can't pay attention.
The infrastructure of the faculty is very old, for example, the laboratories are very small and the tables are damaged for the acid and another reactives. We don't have an adecuate place to practice sports, and the only place that we have is small. Despite of the efforts to bulid more spaces for the students, these efforts aren't enough and for us the situation is hard.

The teaching methods until now, I can say that I'm very satisfied with them because the teachers are very worried for the learning of the students. I can understand every lesson of the classes, however, there are some cases that when you ask something for a lesson, they arrogantly answer you and, as a consequence, you feel bad because they are saying you "You're a fool" as indirectly form and that's why I feel the teachers should be more intelligent when they talk with a student.
The use of the technology is very limited to a few things, the use of computers and a projector, for us the computer is very essential because we can collect a lot of information to learn but in the faculty, there are few computers and we have to go to antoher part to find information. The projector is only use for presentations of the teachers and the classes, but for us it doesn't enough. In some cases, the best option is leran for yourself because in your house or using your cellphone you can complement the normal classes with more information of internet.

Personal opinions

Hooligans of South America:
The football is widely regarded as one the most popular sports in the world, unfortunately this sport isn't untouchable for the violence, since Europe, especially in England, the fans of the clubs fight against another rivals on the ptich, even outside of the pitch. In my opinion this phenom is more visible on South america, where the fans have an infinite power and in the majority of the cases, the violence occupes the protagonism insted of the game. I saw many games in South america and in my opinion, this strong power of the "Barras bravas" is fault of the goverment and the federation of football because our country doesn't have a security plan to stop them or the worst case, the authorities are soborned by the fans and their crimes are allowed. I am a fan of the football and I hope on the pitch, there isn´t no more blood loss.

Violence on TV:
The TVis a great instrument for the entretaiment in family, but for the children, especially the youngest ones, the violence shouldn't exist for them. We are idealizing a perfect world on TV, but the TV show us a part that we don´t want to see. In my opinion, the violence on TV should be rested for children of 0-8 years because the kids don't understand the violence in that years. We want to protect our children but we cannot deny the real world that we live and the kids have to prepare to know the world and guide them for the correct path.


Mechoneo:
I don´t have a "Mechoneo" in my life, but I think the "Mechoneo" is a great opportunity to meet new people and it's a funny experience for everyone, especially, for the first grade in the university, but we cannot confound "Mechoneo" with humilliations and bad-class jokes because in another cases, the superior students want to laugh of the first-grade students, and for the last ones, a great experience turned in a nightmare and the the psychological damage could be irrevesible and a great trauma in their lives.


Clonation:
I think the clonation is a controversial topic, because for me, everyone is special and unique, and they don't need a clon. But if we consider our world, I think the problems would solve with more facility, for example, If I need clean my backyard and I don´t have much time, I would create my own clon to help me and I would finish my work. But create a clon, is very hard because you have to have money and your friends would confound between you and your clon.

My favorite food

In my life, I never had a favorite food in particular because I love all the types of food in the world, but among of them, I like the fish and french fries when I eat, because, my grandmother cooked it for me in special days, for example, my birthday, Christmas, in summer holidays or when I have a good mark in some subject. Currently, since my grandmother passed away, I only ate the special food once a month. The last week I ate fish and french fries and I remember the time when I enjoyed it because it was cooked with great love for my grandmother, and in December i will cooked the special food for my mom and for me because my grandmother will be very happy for me.
When I travel to another city of Chile, especially, on Southern Chile I always eat on the piers because the fish is freshly hunted and I love see and feel the sea and its marine wing, I admit it, I love the fish because part of my family is from Chiloé's Island and in that place, its population eats a lot of fish all the week.


One of my favorite foods is macaroni and cheese, when I cooked it for first time, I only had 10 years old, my wish of cooked it was born when I saw a cooking program on TV, I was very excited for cooking food, so I took the macaroni and warmed it for a time, after once, i took the cheese and sliced it. I was very happy for cooked it for first time, and I enjoyed the time. Currently, I cooked macaroni with cheese in Sunday and I remember the happiness when I was a child. I hope in the future be a great chef in my house and my family enjoyed my food.

Postgraduate studies

Currently, to be honest I don't very sure to study a postgraduate degree, because I need grow in my career, but if I had the opportunity, I would like to study a postgraduate degree because on the one hand I have more opportunities to have a great job in the future and investigate in an determinate area, and for another one, I can learn a bigger chemist knowledge than a undergraduate student because the seminaries are taught by postgraduate students and for make a seminar, you must have a great knowledge about the topic.

I very interested about the pharmaceutical sciences or pharmacology to my possible postgraduate degree because since I joined to my career I learn about a few of things about pharmacology, which is a branch of pharmaceutical sciences. Its study is about the use and the way in the human body of the drug, in molecular level or the human body itself , I like the topic because the human body is a great mystery for us and have the opportunity to learn more than I know, especially, at molecular level is great for me.

As I told you in a blog, I like to study in Germany because for me it is a great power in the scientific world and I feel in that country I can learn all I need in the world of the science or if won't be in Germany, I would like to study in England because their universities are very famous in the whole world and it is a wonderful option for every student.




I would like to study abroad because I could adapted to the language and the life style of the country and the experience would be incredible for me, learn in another country while you are living in it is a great challenge but a great memory.

My future job

When I was in high school, I love the chemistry because I love investigate and work in the laboratory, so I like work as a pharmaceutical chemist. In the future, I imagine me indoor of my house working in my own laboratory and helping people with the chemical knowledge. I love the harmony in my house, so I won't expect travel a lot in my job, only if I need travel to visit a friend or help another professionals in their investigations and besides, I will miss a lot my family and I want to dedicate them all the time of the world. But I want to travel to Germany because it is a great country in the world of chemistry and I feel that I learn more about my profession.
About my salary, I expect in the future my salary exceed the amount of one million of chilean money and more to have a great future and pay all the taxes for my family and for me. Besides, I need have a great amount of money because I need to pay all the instruments for my laboratory and all the reactives that I need. Finally, If I have a great amount of money, I won´t worry for my my jubilation in the future.
About the major, in this moment, I am not studying any major, but in the future I would like to study the major of toxicology because since I have the subject of pharmaceutical botany, I am very happy to know about the plants and their pharmaceutical effects in the health and I hope the toxicology help me to understand all the effects in the health and in the future, be a great professional. As my career is related with medicine, I hope in the future collaborate with medics to help the people in the future and make the world a better place.

Things that I hate and like of my university and my career

I am studying in the University of Chile, for now I'm studying Chemistry and pharmacy. This is my first career and my first university. And I'm very happy with them, because, first, I always have the dream to be a student of University of Chile, and second, although Chemistry and pharmacy wasn't my first choice, I chose this career because I'm very interesting to help people with chemistry knowledge.
I like my university because it gave me the opportunity to meet another people of Chile, in my school I never had that choice. However, there are a things to do the university a better place: First, the sports area of the faculty is very small in comparison of another faculties of the university, those count with green areas and courts to play sports. Second, the library of the faculty doesn't count with a great number of computers, so the students have to go to another faculty or wait. And a personal experience, one a time I have to impress a guide for a test to the next day and I was angry because there weren´t free computers, so I waited and when I saw a free computer, this haven´t internet. Generally, the lack of money for the faculty provokes less development in some areas. I think if the university prioritize  the less developed faculties but without neglect the developed ones, the university would be a better place.

The career is very good because it counts with very opportunities of development and allows the students have a great knowledge, I remember that once a time I have to make a dissertation about a scientific article about ionic liquid and the name was very long and unpronounceable. I pronounceated it very well and my dissertations was very good because the great knowledge that I learned.
 But I hate it because it's very underrated for the people, the people thinks that the career only limits to sell medicine, but in fact, the career has very potential. Once I graduated of my career, I want to learn the people about the career and its benefits because the people needs help of every professional of this country.

My favorite movie in my life

During my childhood, I was very happy for a movie called Toy story and it is my favorite movie because for me it's a very special movie that belongs to my childhood and it is part of my life. Toy story is a trilogy whose first part was released in 1995 for Walt Disney productions and Pixar animation. Regarded as the first movie of Pixar, The plot of the movie is about a group of talking toys leading by Woody, a cowboy all these toys belong to a kid named Andy and they go thourgh a series of adventures that test love, courage and friendship since Andy is a kid until he is 18 years old when his toys are donated by his mom to a daycare. As the movie is a production of Pixar, the movie belongs  to the genre of Animation and adventure.
The cast was compounded by Tom hanks ( as the voice of Woody) and Tim Allen ( as the voice of Buzz Lightyear) as the main roles with Annie Potts, Wallace Shawn, Jim Varney and John Ratzenberger as the secondary roles.

I saw the first part of the movie when I was 5 years old. Since then, I love the movie because once a time, I believed that my toys were alive when I am not in home. But, in fact, the movie show the children how the toys can be alive when we played with them and we feel a great emotion. Basically, for me the movie has a great value for me in my emotional part because it teaches several things, for example, the animated technology marked a great advance in the cinematography industry in 1995 and for the children, to not be afraid to grow up, in fact, they have to enjoy their childhood all the have that they can. The childhood is ephemeral and the children have to use their imagination to infinity and beyond.

The best holidays that I ever had

My best holidays that I've ever had were in september of this year, that month we went to southern Chile, especifcally, to Chiloé island. Part of my familiy is originary of that place, therefore, this trip was so special for me and, besides, I haven't travelled to another city since 2013 when I went to La Serena. In this trip, I was accompained for my mother, for her, this trip was so special too because my grandmother was passed away about one year and she needed relax for some weeks.


As the trip was for 2 weeks, before to travel to the island, we travelled to Puerto Montt, a city near of it to visit a friend of my mother. The city was so friendly, I like the coast of the city because was so beautiful and i can see many sea lions, and the people was very kind with the visitors. I went to the Angelmó market for eat a fish with potatoes, the fish was very delicious and the handicrafts were very cute, I bought a Chiloe hat shape-key Chain as a souvenir.

The main reason for the trip has been the best so far was, besides,  for visited Puerto Montt and the Island, its symbolic significance for us, especially, for my mom, my grandmother was everything for her. She lived a great part of her life in Chiloé, and to honoured her, she decided make this great trip where, in Chiloé, we went to her old house to sleep and walked for the Ancud streets. I never forget it.

I would like to visit...

 I would like to visit Germany because the country has a rich and ancient history of thousands of years that has influenced humanity, especially, in the science, an area where Germany is one of the most laureate countries in the world.
                                                     



                                               

The level of education in that country is very high. The Heidelberg University is regarded as one of the best in the world. My dream is study in that university because its medicine area is very recognized around the world but to be honest I don't really want to work in Germany because I would miss my family.

The cities are beautiful, they are more of thousands of years, for example, Nuremberg is a medieval city localized in the state of Bavaria and it is very famous for its Christmas market, which is visited for two millions of people every year. I would like to visit it.

  




Germany is very famous for the football national team, one of the best in the world. The Germans have a sports culture, in fact, the olympic association is the biggest association in the world with 27 millions of members. I like football and i think the sports change lives for better.

But, lately, it 's a dangerous place for the xenophobia so I really think carefully to travel to Germany. Although of this it is a great place to live for its high level of life and the basic rights are guaranteed.
